Jesse Mintz MCCONNELLS Jesse Benjamin Mintz, 86, of 1180 Simpson Road died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at his home in McConnells. A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Philadelphia U.M.C. Cemetery. Rev. Rick Sturgis will be officiating. The family will recieve friends after the service at the cemetery. Jesse was the widower of Gladys Herrin Mintz, was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War, and was a retired security guard. He is survived by sons, Charles Holcombe of Shelby, NC, Donald Watkins of Bryson City, NC, 7 grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren.
