Funeral services for Mr. Jessie Lee Walker, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 1 PM at the Saint Luke Baptist Church, 620 East Main Street, Dexter. Reverend Jamey Pittman will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Royal Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Jessie Lee Walker was born on November 29, 1945, to the late Eloise and George Walker Sr. in Laurens County, Georgia. He attended the B. D. Perry High School and joined the Royal Springs Baptist Church at an early age. He was employed at Forstmann Inc., for many years, and later was self employed in the logging business until his health failed. He passed away on September 3, 2017. he was also preceded in death by his brothers, George Walker, Jr., Earnest Walker, Willie Lee Walker, Richard Allen Walker, Anthony Holmes, and Forest Walker.

Mr. Jessie Lee Walker leaves to cherish his memory, a wonderful wife, Veola Walker, daughters, Sheila Holliman, Vickie Holliman (James), Debra Lewis of East Dublin, Monica Roberts (Ozellious) of Warner Robins, Serena Walker of Augusta, Shuronia Walker of East Dublin, Jacqueline Christian of Dublin, sons, John Walker, Jessie P. Walker, Ashley Walker, Anthony Walker of Dublin, Kenneth Walker of Augusta, sisters, Essie Coney (Shine), Jackie Wright of East Dublin, brothers, Bobby Walker (Jackie) of East Dublin, Jeffery Walker (Juanita) of East Dublin, aunt, Fleta George of East Dublin, sister-in-laws, Gloria Pittman, Barbara Holmes, Winnie Walker, Shirley Walker, brothers-in-laws, Alton Wright Jr., of Norfolk, Virginia, Jerome Pittman, a devoted caregiver, Renata Fordham, a god-daughter, Kimoshi Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 534 Soperton Avenue, East Dublin.
