Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Ree Pittman, of Dexter, Georgia, will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 11, 2019, at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Saint Luke Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Pittman was born on June 19, 1931, in Gordon, Georgia, to the late James and Mattie Joe Gordon. She was employed by Forstmann and Co. for more than 20 years. She loved her front porch and her family. Mrs. Pittman passed away on March 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, her brother, James, her children, Theotis, Joanne, and Melverlene and by her beloved grandson, Micheal.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, James Morris (Ethel) Pittman, Dexter, Milton (Barbara) Pittman, Dublin, and Melinda Smith, Dexter, her aunt, Rebecca Newton, McDonough, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
