Funeral services for Miss Jessie Mae Thomas, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 2 PM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Ellis Carswell will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Williams Chapel Church Cemetery.

Miss Thomas who passed on June 6, 2017, was born on November 18, 1913, to the late Frank and Carrie Graves Thomas in Laurens County. She was the eldest of ten children. Eight siblings preceded her in death, Nolan (Sadie) Thomas, Willie (Lillian) Thomas, Louise Thomas, Lucille Hall, Mamie Kate Thomas, Mattie (Thomas) White, James Frank (Mattie) Thomas and Rubye (Ernest) Scott.

Miss Thomas was employed by several families in the area. She was the oldest member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories sister, Elizabeth Kiler, Kalamazoo, Michigan; brother-in-law, Marshall Hall, Detroit, Michigan; loving and devoted nieces, Vicki (Russell) Thompson, Gwendolyn (Ronald) Williams and Karen (Carl) Tyson; nephews, Thomas White Jr., Rufus (Sylvia) White, Frankie (Delois) White, James Dennis Andrews, Willie (Charlotte) White, Norrie Andrews, Ronnie (Jeanette) Thomas; first cousin, Hattie Dupree, Atlanta, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receive friends at the home of her niece, Gwendolyn (Ronald) Williams, 1044 Maid Marian Lane in Dublin.
