Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Larry McCoy, Sr., of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 3 PM at the Valdosta Baptist Church, 1975 GA Highway 199 South in East Dublin. Reverend John Sutton will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. McCoy was born on October 16, 1950, in Baxley, Georgia, to the late Annette and James McCoy. He passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019.

Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sandy and Sarah Salem, brothers-in-law, Jimmy Jackson and Marion Richardson, and sister-in-law, Courtney Billue.

Mr. McCoy leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Phyllis McCoy; six children, Mako (Maxine) Jones, Jesse L. McCoy, Jr., Tynisha (William) McNeil, Mary Elliott (Leroy Gaten), Keenan (Cierra) Foreman, and Shirley Marie McCoy; mother-in-law, Eva Davis; father-in-law, Benjamin Davis; brothers-in-law, Chad Foreman, Sherman (Chelsea) Foreman, Nicholas Billue, Colby (Shequore) Billue; two sisters, Annette Jackson and Lynette Richardson; one aunt, Sarah Ruth Mims; two uncles, Colin Salem and Bob Salem; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other love ones who will greatly miss him.

The family will receive friends at 727 Clinton Branch Road in Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, May 10, 6-7 PM.
