Funeral services for Mr. James Wright, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at 11:30 AM at the Living Hope Word Church, 101 Pearl Street in East Dublin. Pastor Carlos Jones will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. James Wright, was born on July 4, 1940, to the late James and Alvinnie Wright. He worked for Apparel Kraft and Biljos as a sewing machine mechanic. He was known as "the best around". He also worked at New Holland servicing tractors and lawnmowers. When he retired, he began his lawn service business. He passed on August 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, brothers, George "G W", and Arthur "Shorty", sister, Mary J. and her husband, Robert. He was a devoted caregiver for his mother-in-law, the late Rose Walker.

Mr. Wright is survived by a devoted wife, Debra, sons, Jarvin Jermaine (Jacqueline), Jamey (Veronica), sisters, Gladine (Daniel) and Marsha, brothers, Grady L., Lester - LH (Evie J), Lee A. (Ada M.), Bennie (Ethel), grandchildren and the apple of his eyes, Breana, Breanna, Jamiya, and Jorden. He also leaves to mourn, four aunts, one uncle, sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Wright, Beverly (Cumming) Brown, Arnita (Willie) Marion, Juanita (Leon) Pittman, Aleshia (Calvin) Wilbur, Esther Walker; brother-in-law, Kenneth Walker and a host of nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 860 Pointe West Loop, Dublin, and at the home of his sister, Gladine White, 1832 Pineforest Circle in Dublin.
