Funeral Service for 66 year old, Mr. James Wooten of Clarksville, TX who went to rest in the arms of Jesus January 4, 2019 in Clarksville, Texas will be Friday, January 11, 2019 12:00 p.m. at Zion Travelers Baptist Church in Clarksville, Texas with Pastor P.A. Porchia, officiating. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery.

Mr. James Wooten was born September 29, 1952 to the union of Oliver & Cecil Wooten in Clarksville, Texas. He graduated from Clarksville High School. At an early age he united with Zion Travelers Baptist church.
He graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas where he became a licensed embalmer and funeral director.
He was married to Tina English Wooten for 33 years. He was blessed with four wonderful children. James joined his father Ollie T. Wooten in the funeral business over 35 years ago. He enjoyed compassionately serving families during one of the most difficult times. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He will be joining his parents and his brother, Lewis A. Wooten.
