Funeral services for Mr. James Melvin "Stag" Rozier, of Dublin, will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 11 AM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home in Dublin, Georgia. Reverend Henry Davis, Sr., will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Mr. James Melvin "Stag" Rozier was born on January 14, 1952, to the late Willie and Mittie Rozier, Sr. He was employed at American Utility and Ansco Cable Company for over thirty years. He joined the Woodard Grove Baptist Church at an early age, and he had a passion for the Ford Mustang 5.0. He completed his education at the Mary Fleming High School. Mr. Rozier, who passed away on July 25, 2019, was preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Fender "Jake" Rozier, sisters, Ms. Linda Rozier, Mrs. Willow Queen McRae, and by his daughters, Kimberly "Lil Bit" Rozier, and Tammie Butler.

Mr. Rozier leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of forty-five years, Veta Mae Rozier, three sons, James Rozier, Jr., Jeremy Rozier, and Josh Rozier, all of Dublin, a daughter, Sonya Wright of Atlanta, devoted granddaughters, Tyavia Butler, Nekeia Rozier of Dublin, Nykia Rozier of Dallas, Texas, three brothers, Willie (Delores) Rozier, Jr., Prentice (Dorothy) Rozier, Linden "Snake" Rozier, all of Dublin, four sisters, Bernestine Rozier of Dublin, Lizzie Rozier of West Palm Beach, Florida, Carrie Henderson of Cartersville, Georgia, Sasha Rozier of Milledgeville, Georgia, a sister-in-law, Ilean Rozier, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
