Funeral services for Mr. James Mobley Jr. was held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 6 PM at the Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home Chapel, Inwood, New York. Mr. Mobley was born on April 26, 1961 in Far Rockaway Queens, New York to the late James Mobley Sr. He was the second of four children, and he brought laughter and a smile to everyone he met. Mr. Mobley passed away on August 31, 2017. James was a scholar, and attended local schools before graduating from Far Rockway High School. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Army.
After serving in the United States Army, he recieved his Masters Degree from Metropolitan College in 2009. On December 9, 2014, James married his childhood sweetheart, Cherrietta, and moved to Dublin until his passing. He leaves to cherish his life, his wife, Cherrietta Mobley, his mother, Maude Mobley, two sisters, Cathy and Melanie Mobley, one brother, Mark Mobley, loving aunts, uncles, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving friends.
