James McIntosh
James C. McIntosh, 74, of Hazle Township, died suddenly October 18, 2013 at his home.
He was the husband of Sally A. (Reiber) McIntosh and they were married 35 years.
He retired after 35 years as an Industrial Engineer for Atlas Powder Company where he was known company wide as “Mack”. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.
He was a 1956 graduate of Carr Creek High School, Kentucky. He was a member of the Hometown Bowling League and had a love of golf, the outdoors, and traveling. He also possessed a unique understanding of computers which he used to help many people.
Born in Amburgey, Kentucky he was the son of the late Ishmel & Fronia (Amburgey) McIntosh.
He is survived by his wife, daughter Jeanean (McIntosh) Perkey and her husband Bryan of Maumee, Ohio. Brother Tommy McIntosh of Ohio, Betty Duckwork of Texas, Adabell Seals of Kentucky and four grandchildren Drew, Ryan, Jace, and Jema.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Aaron and John and sister Semolene.
Calling hours will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Lamar Christ Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
