Funeral services for Mr. James Henry Lewis, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 11 AM at Sandy Ford Baptist Church, 2614 Highway 80 West in Dublin. Reverend Darryl Moore will officiate. Interment will follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mr. Lewis, who passed on December 11, 2015, was born on December 22, 1950, in Dublin to the late Leola Dawson Lewis and James D. Lewis. He was a graduate of Oconee High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired after working at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Mary Lewis; sons and daughters, Amanda Lewis (Frank) Walker, Zachary Love, Kendra Lewis (Henry) Young, Cassandra Lewis (Anthony) Tarver, Anthony Pittman, Michael (Regina) Renfroe, Demetria Carswell, eighteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1308 Highland Avenue, Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Thursday, 6-8 pm.
