James Gwinnup

James L. Gwinnup passed away on May 4, 2013, in Needles, California. Mr. Gwinnup was born June 6, 1940, in Greenfield, Indiana.

Jim moved to Needles in 1980 to work as a supervisor at Needles Post Office and retired in 1992. He was a member of the Elks, the Eagles and joined the National Guard of Arizona in 1958. Jim was also proud to serve on the Needles City Council.

Jim is survived by his wife, Becky; daughter, Tracey (Mike) and grandchildren: Nicole and Brad; Daugter Diana (Daniel) and grandchildren: Nicholas, Jordan, Danielle, Alexis and Chrissy, and six great grandchildren; Daughter Tina (Pancho) and grandchildren Joshua, Diego, Andrea and Amelia; Sister Annie Oyama. Mr Gwinnup is also survived by his beloved dog Annie.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Needles Elk Lodge, 1000 Lilyhill Dr. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
