Funeral services for Mr. James Lee “Buck” Gregory, 53, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Community Missionary Baptist Church, 627 James Grove Church Road, Wrightsville, Georgia. Pastor Terrace Pullen will officiate. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.

Mr. Gregory was born on September 12 1965, in Wrightsville to Mr. Walter Lee and Mrs. Tressie Lee Gregory. He was known as “Buck” to most of his friends and family. He lived in Winton-Salem, North Carolina, for forty-seven years, where he attended Parkland Senior High School and later received his General Equivalency Diploma in 1983. He was employed at Hayward Industries for 17 years as a machine and lead operator until he resigned in 2016. Mr. Gregory was self-motivated and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed dressing to impress, shooting pool and playing dominoes with the “fellas”. He accepted Jesus as his savior and enjoyed reading his Bible. He departed this earthly tabernacle on January 31, 2019.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Walter Lee and Tressie Lee Gregory, of Wrightsville, one dearest daughter, Shameka (Curtis) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, one close brother, Randy Gregory of Wrightsville, one devoted sister, Shelia M. Gregory of Wrightsville, his companion of many years, Tammy Robinson of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, three nieces, Teyanna , Tamara, and Tyvoria Gregory of Wrightsville, two great nieces, Trinity Gregory of Wrightsville, Ralyn Norris of Dublin, two nephews, Notorious Smith and Rantavious Norris of Wrightsville, a special loving aunt, Bonnie B. Martin, and uncle, Willie C. Martin, both of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, devoted cousins, Sylvia A. Martin, and Steven L. Sims of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Marlowe Gregory, Larry Hodges, and Geraldo Wesley of Wrightsville, a devoted mother-in-law, Sytrania Williams of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, godmother, Lizzie L Nicholson of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends in North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
