Giddens Sr. of Clarksville, TX who went to be with his Lord February 17, 2017 at his residence in Clarksville, Texas will be Friday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church Street, Clarksville, TX with Rev. Ossie Coleman officiating. Interment: Fairground Cemetery

Mr. James Edward Giddens Sr. was born October 25, 1940 to the late Nathaniel Giddens and Louella Miller. James accepted Christ at an early age at St. Paul United Methodist Church where he served until his health failed her.

On January 13, 1962 James married the late Anita Robinson Giddens and to this union four children were born.
