James Dixon

Funeral services for Mr. James Lee Dixon, of Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the William Grove Baptist Church, 104 West Mary Street in Dublin. Reverend Jackie Holmes will officiate.Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Dixon, who passed on July 17, 2016, was born on May 15, 1950, to the late Otis and Delia Floyd Dixon. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Nora Lee Josey, Ruby Benjamin and by four brothers, Sam Floyd, Willie Rogers Dixon, DeOtis Dixon and David Dixon.

He is survived by three children, Deborah Dixon, James Lee Ford both of Saint Petersburg, Florida and Justin Lee Dixon of Dublin; a devoted friend of ten years, Tawanda Patterson, Dublin; sisters, Delois Dixon, Emma Lee Johnson, Lola Mae Powell all of Dublin; brothers, John Dixon, Otis Dixon, Willie (Joyce) Dixon, Ralph (Mardell) Dixon all of Dublin; best friend, Willie Thorton and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 815 Central Avenue in Dublin.
