CLOVER -- James Harold Ashley, 72, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at his home in Clover.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Pace officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 1-2 P.M. at Bratton Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son, Jimmy, at 312 Riverbirch Lane Clover, SC 29710.
Harold was a son of the late Robert Perry “Jack” Ashley and Emma Robinson Ashley, and the widower of Edna Ferguson Ashley. Harold was the owner/operator of Lincoln Textiles, Creative Dyeing and the Trading Post in Clover, SC and he also served in the United States Army.
Harold is survived by daughter, Debra A. Ashley, son, Jimmy Ashley (Micka), granddaughter, Ashley Glasbrooks King, grandson, Michael Glasbrooks, 4 great grandchildren, Megan Ashley, Braxton Ashley, Brooklyn Carter and Autumn King. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Perry Ashley and sister-in-law, Louisa Ashley.
