Jamel Cordy

Jamel Tyrone Cordy was born on August 30, 1987, to parents, Muriel E. Darrisaw, and Jimmy E. Cordy, Sr. "Mel" worked for the Dublin City School System until 2018. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, and making people laugh. He also enjoyed camping with his son and church family, and playing videos with his godbrother. He transitioned to glory on March 19, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted wife of seven years, Faith Cordy of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, his daughter, Grace Cordy, two sons, Elijah Cordy and Samson Cordy of Dublin, a niece, Jaslyn A. Wyche, two sisters, Tomika T. Wyche of Dublin, and Christina Ervin of Wrightsville, three brothers, Johnaton Smith, Jimmy Cordy, Jr., and Reginald Cordy, all of Dublin, and a host of aunts, cousins, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Public viewing will be on Tuesday, March 24, 1-7 PM, and on Wednesday, March 25, 9-11 AM, at the Dudley Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced on a later date.
