Funeral services for Mr. J W Robinson, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 1 PM at the Jordan Grove Christian Fellowship Center, Highway 319 North in East Dublin. Reverend Keith Geter will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Church Cemetery.

Mr. J W Robinson was born on June 29, 1952, to Lucion and Queen Esther Robinson in Dublin. He attended the B. D. Perry School. He was retired after 27 years of services at the Georgia Department of Transportation. He worked part-time for the Laurens County Recycling Center until his death. He departed this life on Sunday, January 19, 2020.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Glenda Plummer and by a grandson, Ladarius Loyd.

Mr. Robinson leaves to cherish his loving memories a devoted friend, Virginia Loyd, three daughters Evette Loyd, Kim (Alvin) Salter of East Dublin, and Darriel Lemon of Wrightsville, one son, LaShawn (Lavonda) Loyd of Tampa, Florida, four sisters, Jackie (Ronald) Dudley, Mae Ola Robinson of East Dublin, Janice (Calvin) Sims of Dublin, and Annie (Bennie) Pierce of North Carolina, one brother, Desi (Cathy) Robinson of East Dublin, uncle, Herbert Robinson of Meridian, Mississippi, two aunts, Ola Mae Wright, and Eva Mae Hines of East Dublin, grandchildren, Rodrick (Astrid) Loyd, lMichael (Larissa) Loyd, Kentrell Loyd, Amaya Salter of East Dublin, De’Ljiah Lemon, A’Yairi Wright of Wrightsville, and Shaw Loyd of Tampa, Florida, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
