Ira Turner was born March 19, 1929 in Annona Texas to the late Robert I Turner and the late Maydie Smith Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Ola Turner; 1brother, Jesse Turner, 3 sisters, Maydie Hatcher, America Turner and Willie Mae Turner and one adopted son, Dwight Daniels. Ira is survived by 4 brothers: Billy Charles Turner (Joanie) Annona, Levi Turner Annona, Robert Turner (Ann) Houston, Daniel Turner (Sue) Richmond, VA and 1 sister, Rose Mary Shavers San Bernardino, CA; his daughter, Darlene Hardy (James) and his son Clarence Jenkins (Diana); 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
