Funeral Services for Master Hershel Byron Kenjuna “Peanut” Scott, Jr., of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 2 PM in the C.D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home in Dublin. Pastor Dorothy L. Simmons will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Master Scott, who was born on August 3, 2014, in Dublin, departed this life on November 1, 2014.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Shakeila Hicks of Louisville; father, Hershel Scott, Sr. of Wrightsville; two brothers, Barry Fields, Jr. and Casey Fields, both of Louisville; grandparents, Henrietta (Wyman) Scott of Wrightsville, Mary (David) Hicks of Louisville; eight uncles, Roderick (Ayesha) Stephens of Dublin, Wymon K. Scott of Augusta, David Hicks, Jr., Maurice (Sharan) Hicks, and Brandon (Keira) Hicks, all of Jacksonville, Florida, Treavone Hicks, Brian Hicks, and Jaduavius Hicks, all of Louisville; five aunts, Kishimia (Simon) Boatwright of Wrens, Bridgett (Anthony) Dallis and Terri Hicks all of Jacksonville, Florida, Sharleta Burton of Louisville; and a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his god-parents, Sharee & Travis Jackson; and two god-sisters, Bae’lee Smith and Kalyssa Smith.

The family will receive friends at 111 Lassiter Drive, Dublin.
