Henry Eubanks

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Eubanks, of Dublin, will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 2:00 PM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery in Dublin. Reverend Larry Ellington will officiate.

Mr. Henry Eubanks who passed on May 2, was born July 14, 1928, in Laurens County as the fourth of five children born to of the late Wiley and Clara Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks attended Washington Street School in Dublin and later served in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Mr. Eubanks became an entrepreneur and operated businesses in the Dublin area. In later years he became an ordained minister and was a prolific writer.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Bunyon, Wiley, Jr., and Joe Eubanks, as well as his only daughter, Delois Curry.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sister Mary Ann Eubanks; a devoted nephew, Carl (Josephine) Howard; step-sons, Robert Edmond, Sr. and Eric Edmond; step-granddaughters, Felicia (Johnny) Washington, Stephanie Edmond Stanley, and Catina Edmond Thomas; step-grandsons, Robert Edmond, Jr. and Keith Edmond, all of Dublin and great-nephews, Carlton Howard, Jr. of Athens and Joey Howard of Atlanta.

Mr. Eubanks is also survived by devoted friends, Carolyn Hines of Miami, Florida, Cedric Darden and M.C. Kellam, both of Dublin, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 702 A Brantley Homes, Dublin.
