Henry Elvine

Funeral services for Mr. Henry James Elvine, aka "Buster", of Dexter, will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2 PM at the Pine Hill Christian Church, 2908 Fountain Road in Cadwell . Pastor Belinda Faye Mitchell will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Elvine, who passed away on March 3, 2016, was born on November 4, 1944, in Laurens County to the late Mr. Walker and Mrs. Tinnie Mae Elvine. He was preceded in death by his fathers, Mr. Henry Mitchell and Mr. Anthony White, and by five brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Elvine leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Henry Elvine, Jr., Dublin, Anthony (Jessica) Elvine, Rentz; eleven stepchildren; five sisters, Jearline Dewberry, Cadwell, Bertha (Ira) Jones, Martha (Robert) Jones, Dublin, Luevone (Rev. James) Adams, Ammie Jackson, Macon; three aunts, Katie Lue Fullwood, Willie Pearl Lanier, Dublin, Clara Thomas, Cadwell, seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 507 Smith Street in Dublin and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Monday, March 7, 6-7 PM.
