Henry Channel

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Channel, Jr., of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 10 AM at A New Generational Beginning Ministries, 4504 US Highway 80 West in Montrose. Reverend Henry Channel, III, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Channel, who passed on January 12, was born on November 21, 1942, in Laurens County to the late Henry Channel, Sr., and Eva Mae Channel Lattitmore. He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Lee Channel, Matthew Channel, Sr., and by his sister, Josie Smith.

Mr. Channel was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired meat cutter. He was a member of A New Generational Beginning Ministries.

He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Channel Burney of Las Vegas, Nevada, Melissa Twannette Channel of Dublin, Bridgette Daniels of Bakersfield, California; his sons, Henry Channel, III (Felicia) of Rentz, Jason Bell of Dublin, Darren Lewis of Dublin, Jarvis Channel of Dublin; nineteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a brother, Willie Lattimore (Trica) of Albany; an aunt, Mary Ann Eubanks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The repast will be held at the Dudley's Retreat on Truxton Street in Dublin following the interment.

The family will receive friends at 518 Fair Street in Dublin and on Friday from 7-8 PM on Friday at the Dudley Funeral Home.
