Helen Hartsell Yarbrough, 79, of York, SC passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at PruittHealth - Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Nellie Cloninger officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church parlor.
Helen was born on October 25, 1941 in Albemarle, NC to the late Paul Vixon Hartsell and Lizzie Barbee Hartsell. She was the widow of Herman Ray Yarbrough and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in York, SC.
Helen is survived by her step daughter, Liz Cowart, granddaughter, Brandy Johnson (Joe), great grandchildren: Seth Hatley, Logan Johnson, step grandchildren: Mathew Cowart, Timothy Cowart, Courtney Cowart, Trip Lewis, Ginger Tayara, and step great grandchildren: Lilly Cowart, Teagan Cowart, Tanner Cowart, Lauren Cowart, Anna Catherine Cowart, Elise Cowart, Brandon Combs and Gabriel Tayara.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her son, Allen Hartsell, brother, Gary Hartsell, and step daughter, Diane Lewis.
