Helen “Tot” Bratton Good, 89, of Sharon, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, at White Oak Manor in York.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in Sharon with Rev. Laura Bratton officiating. The family will receive friends at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 1:30 -3:00 PM.
Helen was a daughter of the late Thomas Agger Bratton and Mary Frances Ramsey Bratton, and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, George W. Good. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and was an active member of the Woodlawn Memorial Association and Circle #1. Helen was formally employed by Celanese, and in her spare time she enjoyed cooking and crocheting.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Virginia "Jennie" Wix (Joe), granddaughters, Jennifer Sexton (Eddie), Joanna Wix (Jess), great-grandson, Landon Sexton, sister-n-law, Juanita Wallace, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Bratton and sister, Mary Latham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woodlawn Memorial Association at PO Box 189 Sharon, SC 29742 or to any charity of one's choice.
