Helen Eugenia Thomasson Austin, 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare in Rock Hill.
The funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, October,27 2017 at Ebenezer ARP Church with Rev. Mel Wine and Rev. Matthew Allison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6 – 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Helen was a daughter of the late James Thomasson and Elizabeth Bigger Thomasson. She was a member of Ebenezer ARP Church in Rock Hill and was a retired school secretary.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Austin of York, son Kevin Austin (Paula) of Rock Hill, sister Ferrie Ward of Columbia, and grandson A.J. Austin of Myrtle Beach. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Austin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer ARP Church, 2132 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
