Funeral services for Mr. Gus Pittman, of Dublin, will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 3, 2020, at the graveside in the Saint Luke Baptist Church Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Dexter. Reverend Jamie Pittman will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Gus Pittman was born on October 7, 1933, in Laurens County to the late Gus Pittman, Sr., and Estella Pittman. He was a devoted member of the Saint Luke Baptist Church.

Mr. Pittman was a Veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Delta Airlines as an Aircraft Controller. He passed away on July 28, 2020, and was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Cooper Pittman, brothers, Ossie Pittman, Nelson Pittman, Harold Pittman, Melvin Pittman and by a sister, Carrie Pittman.

Mr. Pittman is survived by his daughter, Sharon Pittman (Steve) Honey, brother, Willie Pittman and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
