Funeral services for Mr. Gregory "Peanut" Woodard, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 2 PM at the Dublin Church of God, 2059 Claxton Dairy Road in Dublin. Reverend Jimmy Fields will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Woodard was born in McRae, Georgia, on March 16, 1965, to Mary Ann Woodard and Jimmy Tucker. He was raised by Ernest Jones.

He later moved to Dublin where attended Dublin Church of God. He passed away on January 8, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Woodard & Lizzie Stanley Woodard, his uncles, Herbert Woodard & Willie Woodard, and by his aunt, Mattie Bell Wilson.

Mr. Woodard leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mary Ann (Dannis) Jones of Dublin, his fathers, Jimmy Tucker of McRae; Ernest (Juanita) Jones; daughters, Chaquita Floyd & Janae Woodard of Dublin and Ladandra Hobbs of Statesboro; two grandchildren, five sisters and brothers, seven aunts and uncles, and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and family members.

The family is receiving friends at 513 Vinson Village, and at the Dudley Funeral Home, 6-7 PM on Friday.
