Gregory Pittman

A sunset memorial celebration of life service for Mr. Gregory Pittman, 62, of Marion, North Carolina, will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Saint Peter's Baptist Church, 912 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., in Dublin, Georgia. Pastor Shawn Curtis will officiate and Pastor John Pooler, III, of East Market Street Seventh Day Adventist Church, Greensboro, North Carolina, will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Pittman was born in Dublin, Georgia, on November 21, 1955. He was a veteran of the United States Army with sixteen years of service and he was a recently retired career nurse. He passed away on Friday, July 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Ethelene Pittman, and by a brother, Robert Pittman.

Mr. Pittman is survived by Linda Thomas Pittman, Fayetteville, North Carolina, the endearing mother of their two daughters, Rhonda Pittman (Lufonz) Winston, Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Renata Pittman Smith, Charlotte, North Carolina, his grandchildren, DeVante' Thomas-Pittman, Reyna Smith, Renee' Smith, Caleb Winston, Fonz Winston, Eli Winston and Nakoya Winston, two sisters and two brothers, Ethel P. (John, Jr.) Pooler, Hayward, California, Glinder Pittman (Paul) Salter, Dublin, Georgia, Steve (Jaki) Pittman, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Ponder Pittman, Chicago, Illinois, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
