Gregory Holsey

Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Keith Holsey, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the Brown Grove Baptist Church, 1210 Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Reverend Cecil Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Holsey was born on October 29, 1962, to the late Mrs. Pauline Davis Holsey and the late Mr. Robert Tommy Tucker. Although Mr. Holsey never married or had children, he treated his nieces and nephews as his own children. He loved his family and he loved music. He collected CDs (compact discs), vinyl records, and we believe that he still possessed a few cassette tapes. He attended East Laurens High School and could be seen at Walmart, Inc., for the last 19 years where he was employed until his recent hospitalization. He was called to rest on June 5, 2019.

Mr. Holsey was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his brother, Kenneth Davis, and by his sister, Brenda Corbett. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Tom McRoy, Canton, Ohio, Jackie H. Chatman, Jesup, Joyce H. Whitfield, Dublin, Eddie Holsey, Jesup, Gloria H. Hudson, Jacksonville, Florida, Charlene H. Dudley, Brunswick, Paul Holsey, Jacksonville, Florida, Carrie (Gerald) Benjamin, Louisiana, Robert Tucker, Jr., Dublin, Randy Tucker, Jacksonville, Florida, Michael (Beverly) Carswell, Savannah, Cynthia Carswell, Rhonda (Albert) Evans and Greg Tucker of Dublin, his nieces and caregivers who were by his side until the end, Jacquelyn Holsey and Brandy Holsey, both of Dublin, his aunt, Maybell Demmons, several nieces, nephews, cousins and long-time friends.
The family is receiving friends at 2277 Thaisell Road, Rockledge, Georgia.
