Funeral services for Mr. Grady Hodges, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 1 PM at the Green Grove Baptist Church, 2418 US Highway 441 South in Dublin. Reverend Milton Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Hodges, who passed on October 18, 2014, was born September 9, 1947, to the late John and Doretha Hodges. He was educated at Millville High School. Later he moved to Macon, Georgia worked with Reeves Construction for forty years and retired in 2007.

After retring, he married the loved of his life, Mrs. Virginia Hodges, and later joined the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Willie Paul and Ollie Mae Hodges; sister-in-law, Juanita L. Bell; and granddaughter, Erica S. O'Neal.

Mr. Hodges leaves many loving memories to be shared by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Hodges; daughter, Rona (Eddie) Bargie; sons, Timothy (Winella) Bell, Gary Hodges, Daimen Hodges of Macon; devoted stepson, Alan Bell; devoted stepdaughters, Teria "Hazel" Howard, Phyllis Bell; sisters, Charlie Mae Exum, Inise Holliman, Redimae (Raymond) Brown, Ella Mae (Paul) Holliman; loving mother-in-law, Thena B. Clements; sisters-in-law, Thelma (Zebbie) Ashley, Janice (Eugene) Stuckey, Regina (Robert) Pepin, Rikita (Michael) Harvell, Shirley Bell, Vanessa Clements; brothers-in-law, Melvin (Lois) Bell, Jeffrey (Brenda) Bell, Willie L. Bell; grandchildren, Erin S. O'Neal, Carissa O'Neal, Justin Bell, Joshua Bell, Kiera Wright, Demi Murray, Dianco Murray, Garrick, Hodges, Varrick Hodges; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 521 Hudson Street in Dublin.
