Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Vivian Stanley Haynes of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 1 PM at the Rice Hill Baptist Church, 2706 Moore Station Road, Dublin. Reverend Abraham Crockett will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Grace Vivian Stanley Haynes was the first born of three daughters, to the late Mrs. Rosia Mae Stanley Brown, and the grand parentage of Mrs. Etta Mae Stanley, and Mr. Noah Stanley. At an early age, she joined the Rice Hill Baptist Church in Dublin, where she attended until her health began to decline. She married Mr. Willie T. Haynes on May 22, 1954, and graduated from high school on December 28, 1954, then went to work for Townsend Funeral Home. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Willie T. Haynes, Sr., two brothers-in-laws, Mr. Walker Carswell, and Mr. John T. Jones, two nieces, Ms. April Carswell, and Ms. Annie Jones, one nephew, Mr. Johnny Jones. Since October 3, 2017, she has fought with everything she had to hold on and more, but on June 22, 2019, she laid her life down, and went home to be with the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a devoted and caring daughter, Vivian (Daniel) Steward of Dublin, Georgia, three loving sons, Willie (Patrice) Haynes, Jr., Ricky Haynes of Dublin, Georgia, and Carl (Cheryl) Haynes of East Point, Georgia, two granddaughters, Vivian C. Steward of Dublin, Georgia, Brandi (Desmond) Lofland of Warner Robins, Georgia, five grandsons, Emmanuel W. Steward, a devoted grandson, Antonio R. Steward, Bradford (Kyrsten) Haynes, Byson J. Haynes, all of Dublin, Georgia, Byron R. Haynes of Macon, Georgia, two great granddaughters, Little Miss Addison C. Haynes of Dublin, Georgia, Little Miss Halo N. Lofland of Warner Robins, Georgia, two great grandsons, Master Kamarion Brown of Sandersville, Georgia, and Master Carter R. Haynes of Macon, Georgia, two sisters, Mrs. Dolly Brown Carswell of D. C., and Mrs. Geartha Brown Jones of Miami, Florida, several nieces, including one loving niece, Ms. Wanda Carswell of Atlanta, Georgia, several nephews, including one caring nephew, Mr. Keith Carswell of Atlanta, Georgia, several great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 411 Pine Street, in Dublin.
