Funeral services for Ms. Gloria Ann Ringwood, 59, of Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the William Grove Baptist Church, 104 West Mary Street, in Dublin. Pastor Earnest Holmes will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Ringwood was born on October 17, 1956, in Dublin, to the late Reverend Homer Booker T. Ringwood, Sr., and the late Olivia Wright Ringwood. She graduated from the Yale University School of Medicine in 1975, and later became the clerical supervisor for Florida Department of Health. She saw potential in everyone and everything, and took great pride in helping to better our community. She was a devout member of the William Grove Baptist Church, and a member of City Wide, affiliated with Teen Court and was the secretary for Cross Creek Cemetery Beautification Committee. She passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Ringwood and Homer Ringwood, Jr.

Ms. Ringwood is survived by her three children, Maria, Victor (Shaunta) and Shani, her brothers, William (Wilma), Sammuel, Nehemiah and her sisters, Naomi, Sallie, Phillistean, Barbra (Jeffery), a brother Donald (Shirley) Ringwood, grandchildren, Victoria, Paradise, and Shawn, and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
