Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Camay Coley Evans, 47, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 1 PM at the New Providence Baptist Church, 3127 Fountain Road, Cadwell. Bishop Henry W. White will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Providence Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Evans was born May 20, 1967, in Rentz, to Reverend Elijah Coley and Vanice Coley. She departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2014.

She graduated from West Laurens High School and pursued a career in the military. She served in the United States Air Force and the United States Army for a total of 20 years. After retiring from the military, she moved to Atlanta and joined the Christian Missionary Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and loved good singing.

Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Carl Coley.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her husband, Unterio Evans and son LaMario Evans both of Duluth; two sisters Christine Coley of Riverdale, and Ann Dena (Eric) Coley-Cody of Atlanta; six brothers, David (Cathy) Jones, Bobby Coley, Jerry (Detris) Coley all of Augusta, Evarron Coley of Braselton, Robert Hazley of Dublin, and Danny Coley of Jonesboro; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Evans will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.
