Gilbert Espinosa

Gilbert Salazar Espinosa, 74, of Eden passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Concho County Hospital. He was born in Eden, Texas on April 17, 1940 to Felix and Flora Espinosa. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents and son, David R. Espinosa. He is survived by daughter, Diane Ortega and Robert of Eden, daughter Becky and Omar Salas of Menard; son, Richard Espinosa of San Angelo; sister, Margie Youngblood and Bob of De Leon, TX; two brothers, Jimmy Espinosa of Brady and Willie Espinosa of De Leon, TX; six grandchildren, Davina Deanda and husband, Jamie, Raven McGuffin, Aquilas Ortega and wife, Tiffany, Kristoffer and Yliana Magallen, and Taryn Espinosa; and six great grandchildren, Kolby Espinosa, Olivia, Cannon and Gracin Deanda, Ryan Cash Ortega and Jacob Flores.

Pallbearers are Alex Castanuela, Ralph Garcia, Roger Saucedo, Buttercup, Armando Valverde, Eric Maldonado, Clement Morin and Jamie Deanda. Officiating is Father Yesu.

Rosary is 7 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Eden Funeral Home chapel. Service is 10 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Eden. Burial is in Eden Cemetery.
