Funeral services for Mr. Gerald May of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home, 617 East Jackson Street, Dublin. Reverend Grady Brazeal will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Brazeal Chapel Church Cemetery, Old Lovett Road, East Dublin.

Mr. Gerald Earl May was born on June 30, 1957, to the late Mrs. Geraldine Ford. He was employed by the J. P. Stevens Company at an early age. Afterwards, he moved to Macon, Georgia, and was employed wit the J. and L. Market, until his health declined. He was truly loved, and was raised by his grandparents, the late Sam Davis and Eva Coleman Davis. He was also preceded by two sisters, and several brothers. He departed this life on August 1, 2018.

He is survived by a daughter, Kristina May of Dublin, a grandson, Carmelo White, sisters, Lesa Ford McAdoo, Jelicia Ford, brothers, Christopher (Liz) Ford, James Ford all of Dublin, aunts, Gladine Davis of Dublin, Diane Watkins of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a very devoted niece, and caretaker, Tammy Ford of Dublin, devoted friends and neighbors, Mrs. Rosa Taylor, and Mr. Tim Taylor of Macon, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1399 US Highway 319 North, East Dublin.
