George Russell

George Marion Russell, 85, of Wolfforth, TX. passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. Visitation is at Eden Funeral Home on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 5 - 7pm. Graveside service is 11:00am Monday, April 13, 2015 in Eden Cemetery, officiated by Myron Halford, under the direction of Eden Funeral Home. George resided in Ballinger for 17 years, and was a member of the Cowboy Church. He had moved to Wolfforth in recent years, to be near his family. George was an avid fisherman, and over the years, he gathered some great stories to share with his friends and family. He also loved to watch baseball.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy in 1999; his parents, Lawson and Eula Russell, and two brothers, Delmer Russell, and J.D. Russell.

Survivors include his daughter Georgia Martinez of Ruidoso, N.M., his son Ricky Russell, and wife Sheryl of Wolfforth, TX., one sister, Helen Hughes of Fort Worth, and two brothers, Claude Russell of Coleman, and Robert Russell of London, TX.; 5 grand children, and 9 great grand children.
