George Mieszek, Jr.
George was born on July 30, 1947 in Philadelphia to George Sr. (deceased) and Alfreda. He was a longtime companion to Mitzi Snow, and was a brother to Joseph (Kelly), father to Jeffrey, Jennifer (Robert), Jamie, and Katie. He was also grandfather to several grandchildren. George was a lifetime devoted Catholic, serving as an alter boy, and graduated from Father Judge High School.
After attending Taylor Business School, George entered the field of real estate, focusing on title insurance. Upon retirement, George enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
The family will receive visitors from 9:30 am - 10:30 am prior to Mass at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at our Lady of Consolation, 7051 Tulip Street, Philadelphia, PA 19135. Internment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Baily Road, Yeadon, PA 19050.
