Funeral services for Mr. George King, of Chester, Georgia, will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at 2:00 PM at the Thankful Baptist Church, 2615 Empire Chester Highway in Chester. Reverend David Turner will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. King was born December 9, 1959. He was preceded in death by his father, George David King.

Mr. King is survived by his mother, Minnie Mae Vickers, Chester, sisters, Gloria King, Chester, Brenda Johnson, Eastman, Vanessa Vaughn, Statesboro, Lataksha Perry, Minnie Susie Washington, Chester, brothers, Bernie King, Charles King both of Chester, friend, Jennifer Dennis, cousins, Horace Mitchell, Clarence (Lisa) Mitchell, nieces and nephews, Keke Vaughn, Robert (Erika) Johnson, Javon Johnson, Markeisha Johnson, Rico Johnson, Lakala Perry, Joshua Perry, Kara Washington, Kaitlyn Mitchell, Tamarie Washington, Carli Washington and Jocslyn Hamilton and other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the family residence, 253 Alamo Road Highway 126, Chester.
