George Hall

A celebration of life for Mr. George Hall, Jr., of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 9 , 2018, at the New Vision Missionary Baptist Church, 951 Field Street, Dudley. Reverend Horace L. Austin, Jr., Pastor, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hall, a beloved dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born in Montrose, Georgia, on February 16, 1942 to the late Mr. George Hall, Sr. and Mrs. Mammie Lee Hall of Dudley. Mr. Hall departed this life on January 4, 2018. He joined Byrd Hill Baptist Church at an early age before moving to Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Millville High School as Valedictorian and went on to further his education at Fort Valley State University. He was an educator in Twiggs County for eight years. He worked in supervision at Pabst Blue Ribbon. He later moved to Atlanta where he was a supervisor for Coca-Cola Bottlers until he retired.

He leaves to mourn, a wife, Addie Pearl Hall of Warner Robins; two step-sons, Wesley (Victoria) Richardson of Dallas, Texas and Tracy (LaShanda) Richardson of Warner Robins; one stepdaughter, Anita (Homer) Pitts of Warner Robins; two sisters, Ellen (Willie) Turner and Faye (Albert) Patterson, both of Dublin; two brothers, Otha (Bessie) Hall of Dudley, Hugh (Janetta) Hall of Dublin; one deceased brother, Ludrick Hall; a devoted sister-n-law, Jean Hall of Dudley; one uncle, Eddie Dean Ashley of Ellenwood; devoted cousins, Dorena (Jerry) Mack of Dublin, and Betty Jones of Dudley, and a faithful host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Ellen and Willie Turner at 516 Pointe West Place, Dublin.
