Funeral services for Mr. Gary Eugene Dixon of Adrian, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 11 AM at the Holly Spring Baptist Church, 705 Buckeye Road, East Dublin. Reverend E. Neal Dixon will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Adrian Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Gary Eugene Dixon was born on March 4, 1957, to Mr. Capus Ricks and Reverend Dr. Bobbie J. Fann. He was raised in Adrian, Georgia under the tutelage of his loving grandmother, Clarion D. King. At an early age, Mr. Dixon was united with the Saint James Baptist Church in Adrian, Georgia, where he maintained his membership. He began his early education in the Johnson County School System, and later matriculated at Adrian High School, where he completed his formal education. He was employed with Adrian Homes in Adrian, Georgia for many years, until the company closed, and was later employed with Cherokee Block and Brick Company in East Dublin, until his health declined. Mr. Dixon accepted the Master's call on Saturday, July 27, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.

Mr. Dixon leaves to cherish his precious memories one devoted son, Jermaine Dixon, five grandchildren, Adrien Dixon, Adriana Dixon, Sharmain Dixon, Jaishun Dixon, and Chelsey Dixon, parents, Reverend Dr. Bobbie J. Fann and Capus (Rachel) Ricks, two loving sisters, Terra Dixon, and Teresa (Robert) Jefferson, three dedicated brothers, Clayton Dixon, Steve Dixon, Elgin (Terri) Dixon, four aunts, Reba Ricks, Alta Graves, Bernice Dixon, and Annie King who also served as a devoted caregiver, two uncles, James Pete (Susie) Dixon, and Larry (Rosalyn) King, and a host of other relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at Saint James Baptist Church, 107 West Green Street, Adrian, Georgia on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, 5-6 PM.
