Funeral services for Ms. Gail Payne, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 11 AM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel of the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Clarence Durham Thomas will officiate.

Ms. Payne, who passed on Saturday, January 21, 2017, was born on November 20, 1962, in Laurens County to Mrs. Juanita Payne and the late Willie L. Payne. Ms Payne accepted Christ at a young age, had an enormous heart, loved people, and loved to laugh and talk. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, Charlie and Grace Thomas, niece, Ashley Payne, and uncles, Clarence Thomas, and Grable Thomas.

Ms. Payne leaves to mourn and cherish her fond memories of her life, a son, Elijah Thompkins, grandchildren, Khloe Thompkins, Aniyah Thompkins, Elijah Thompkins, Jr., Amariana Lamb, sisters, Kath (L.C.) Mack, Donna Payne, a brother, Willie L. (Bill) Payne, aunts, Irene Moore, Maggie Wicker, Charlie Mae Arnold of Macon, Annette Byrd of Detroit, Michigan, one uncle Charlie (Anita) Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home on Saturday, January 28, 2017, from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
