Funeral Service for 69 year old, Mr. Freeman Dockins of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of DeKalb, TX who went to be with his Lord August 13, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK, will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 204 W. Fulton, DeKalb, TX Interment: English Cemetery, Clarksville, TX with Rev. Clifton Murray officiating.

Freeman Dockins was born January 26, 1948 to Vernice and Essie Dockins in De Kalb, TX. Freeman accepted Christ at an early age at Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Freeman loved spending his time with family and friends. He enjoyed working as an auto mechanic and helping others in need. Freeman was the comedian of the family, he loved cracking jokes and putting smiles on others faces.

Freeman was called home on August 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife Jewel Lee Dockins; both parents Vernice and Essie Dockins; brothers: Willie C, Lawerence, Wayne, Vernice; sisters: Sharyle and Dorothy; and his loving grandchildren Dane Scott II and Brittany Dockins


He leaves to chersh his memory,
Three daughters: Patricia, Deloise, Marchal, all of Oklahoma City, OK;
Five sons: Freeman Jr., Anthony, Kendell, Glenn, and Santon, all of in Oklahoma City, OK;
Three sisters: Diane, Carol, and Tereca;
Three brothers: Kenneth, Earnest, and Amos;
21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
