Graveside services for Mr. Fred Smith, 57, of Cadwell, will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the Sun Hill Cemetery, Cadwell. Evangelist Janice White will officiate.

Mr. Smith was born in Cadwell to the late L. C. and Annie B. Smith on December 25, 1956. He was called into eternity on March 8, 2014. He grew up and attended school in Laurens County and served in the United States Army.

On February 27, 1975 he was united in matrimony to Vivian Steele. From this union one child, Victoria M. Smith, was born.

Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Victoria M. Smith of Rochester, NY; one son, Wayne (Poppie) Smith of South Bend, Indiana; three sisters, Cora (Harold) Smith of Hawkinsville, Everlene (Teyarko) Smith of Athens, and Angela (William) Colson of Cadwell; five brothers, Johnnie L. Smith, L.C. (Joann) Smith, Jr., Ted (Rosa) Smith all of Cadwell, Willie Smith and James (Terrie) Smith all of South Bend, Indiana; eight grandchildren; three aunts; two uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including special friends, Shirley Grayson and Tony Veil of Athens.

The family will receive friends at 1299 Iris Lowery Road, Cadwell.
