Funeral services for Mr. Franklin Andrae Dwayne McLeoud, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, February 24, at 11 AM at the Green Grove Baptist Church, 2418 US Highway South in Dublin.


Mr. McLeoud was born on September 14, 1983, in McRae, Georgia, to Mrs. Anita Hill-Griffin of Dublin, Georgia, and Mr. Henry Williams of Milan. He was educated in the Laurens County. and Dublin City School Systems where he graduated in 2003. He moved to Atlanta to further his education and graduated from Anthem College in June 2014 with an Associates Degree in Medical Science.

He joined the Corinth CME Church at an early age where he was an active member until he moved to Dubin, with his mother, in 1996. He also would fellowship at Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he would assist his mother in singing in the first Sunday Choir. He joined the Greater House of Hope in Atlanta in 2017. He passed away on February 11, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Quinette McLeoud, Willie Mae McLeoud, and his uncle,David McLeoud.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted parents, Anita and LeRoy Griffin of Dublin, three brothers, Kenneth and Joseph McLeoud of Atlanta, and Freddie Mcleoud of Jonesville, Virginia, one uncle, Ejae (Krystal) McLeoud of Atlanta, four aunts, Kawana McLeoud of Albany, Alfrieda Williams of South Carolina, Tia and Tiffany Fletcher of Savannah, one nephew, Josiah McLeoud of Atlanta, godparents, Sonja Fletcher of McRae, and Kurtis Sampson of Atlanta, great aunts, Beulah Ferrebee of Savannah, and Ernestine Smith of McRae, great uncles, E.T. Fletcher and James Fletcher, both of McRae, a devoted adopted mother, Evelyn K. Moore of Dublin, and a devoted neighbor, Mary Hall, his dedicated inner circle of friends, Anshawn Maxwell, Vernon Holliman, Myko Simon, Quintarvius Shirly, Rebert Price, Portia Cusack, Gabriella Wilson, Ashley Powell, Deon Coleman, and Cameron Neal, and a great host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 5:30-6:30 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home.
