Funeral services for Mr. Frankie Irvin Anderson, of Jeffersonville, Georgia, will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 3, 2020, at the Balls Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 4263 Balls Church Road in Jeffersonville. Reverend Monica Sams will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born on March 7, 1967, to the late William McKinley Anderson and the late Bertha Ree Harris Anderson. He was educated in Wilkinson County Schools. He furthered his education at Morris Brown College in business administration. He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

After college, he returned to Wilkinson County where he worked for several companies, including Engelhard Corporation and B&H Trucking where he was a faithful and reliable employee.

He met and married the love of his life, Sonya Renee’ Anderson. To this blessed union, two beautiful children, Irvin McKinley Anderson and Katelin LaMeri Anderson, were born.

Mr. Anderson endured many health challenges through the years, but he remained diligent in fighting through every obstacle, has was industrious always finding ways to overcome trials. He, along with his beautiful wife, trained their children to honor God, family and community.
He professed Christ as Savior at a young age, joining Balls Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Even in his illness, he served God, serving as President of the Men’s Choir until his health failed. Mr. Anderson went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2019.

He leaves his loving and devoted wife, Sonya Renee’ Anderson, his dutiful and caring children, Irvin McKinley (Dooley) Anderson, and Katelin LaMeri Anderson, mother-in-law, Katie Smith, sister-in-law, Shanta Dudley, brothers, Freddie Cobb and Danny Cobb, sister, Denise Davis Hill, aunts and uncles, Rosemerry (Sampson, Jr.) Crockett, Evelyn Green, Cheri Harris, Annie Harris, Pinky Harris, and Geraldine Anderson, special friends, Chip Eberhart and Dexter Wimbish, and a host of cousins, friends, fraternity brothers, church family, neighbors, and members of the community that will remember his with love.
