Floyd Cason

Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Cason, Wrightsville, will be held at 12 PM, Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Mount Pleasant African Methodist Episcopal Church, 368 Bill Oliver Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Amos Darrisaw will deliver the eulogy. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born on December 5, 1932, to the late Carther Cason, Sr. and Julia Brantley Cason. At an early age Mr. Cason moved to Florida with his sister and lived there for over thirty years. After retirement he moved back to Wrightsville. He joined Mount Pleasant African Methodist Church. He passed away on June 24, 2018.

Mr. Cason was preceded in death by a daughter and nine siblings.

He leaves to mourn his passing two nieces, Tricilla Fluker, Virginia (Waymon) Holder of Dublin; nephew, M.H. Atkins, Wrightsville; two sisters-in-law, Nora Cason, Sandersville, Edith Cason, Atlanta and a host of other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the Dudley Funeral Home Friday, 6-7 PM.
