Area funeral homes have been run by members of the Geisel family since 1919. After graduating from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1978, Thomas L. Geisel first worked in Pittsburgh at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home then moved to Chambersburg where he became employed at the John O. Park Funeral Home. In 1983 he bought the business from Mr. Park and ten years later built the new facility at 333 Falling Spring Road.

Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, provide customers with clear and accurate information about the products and services they offer. This includes providing price details over the phone upon request.
As part of the "Funeral Rule," Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center is required to offer a General Price List (GPL) to anyone who asks for it.
