After working for Jacob Carn who owned a furniture store/funeral home, Marvin C. Leslie started his own funeral home, working out of his personal residence. Upon the death of his old boss in 1946, Marvin bought the Carn funeral home and moved his business there. Marvin retired in 1979 at which time Mark Leslie took over as owner. In 2001 the business was moved to its present location in the structure that used to be the Central Pennsylvania National Bank building. The current owner is Harry E. Miller who purchased the funeral home in 2006. The Miller Funeral Home in East Freedom is also located in a former bank building.
