Funeral services for Mr. Felton “Oil-Can” Perry, 71, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at the Christ Deliverance Temple at 403 Garner Street in Dublin. Reverend Robert Fullwood will deliver the eulogy.

Felton Perry was born on September 11,1947, to the late Mr. Edward Perry, Sr. and Annie Mae Perry in Dublin, Georgia. Mr. Perry was the third of ten children born to the Perry Clan. He attended Oconee High School and joined the Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age.
Mr. Perry was a highly-respected, and well-known, self-employed carpenter with hands of perfection. His laughter and personality were one-of-a-kind. He entered into eternal rest on March 28, 2019, after an extended illness.

Mr. Perry was preceded in death by three infant great-grandsons, two siblings, Ernest and Betty Perry, one brother-in-law, David Earl Smith, his grandparents, George and Parry Lee Smith of Soperton, Georgia, and Ernest and Clara Perry of Dublin, and by his six uncles and two aunts.
Mr. Perry leaves to mourn his devoted wife, Lillie Mae Perry, and daughter, Valerie Perry of Dublin, Georgia, and from this union, two daughters, Nancy and Glenis Blue of Warner Robins, Georgia, and two sons, Joe and Clarence Blue, Jr., of Dublin, Georgia; six grandchildren: Donavon McCloud of Atlanta, Georgia, Christopher Perry of Savannah, Georgia, Casey and Austin Perry, Lashanta McCloud and Ashley Taylor, all of Dublin, Georgia. four great-grandchildren, Donavan, Jr, Canellia, Khy’Leigh, and Aubree, all of Dublin, Georgia. He survived by four brothers: James (Mattie) Perry of Milledgeville, Georgia, Leroy Perry, Robert Earl (Shirley) Perry, and Edward Perry, Jr., and by three sisters: Edwena (Warren) Turner, Joann (Rev. Robert) Fullwood, all of Dublin, Georgia, and Cynthia Smith of Rentz, Georgia, one sister-in-law, Linda Moore Perry, also of Dublin, three brothers-in-law: Willie (Lola) Cooper and Otis (Marjorie) Cooper of McRae, Georgia, and Samuel (Fannie Mae) Cooper of Jacksonville, Florida, one uncle Leotis (Lizzie) Smith of Soperton, Georgia, and one aunt, Sallie Smith of Williamson, New Jersey, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 706 Simmons Street in Dublin.
